You can find many “primitives” at the Waukesha Antique Mall! Primitives (sometimes also known as early American items) refers to the handmade furniture and utilitarian household items made before the industrial era of mass production. Most of these pieces were made between the mid 1700’s and early 1800’s and many were built by farmers who were able to make many of the items needed during the winter months from locally sourced wood. These unique items of early Americana are highly prized by collectors today and add charm to any decor.
